Participates in in Life Safety survey activities in collaboration with site survey regulatory team and ensures continuous readiness survey activities are completed for facilities/ engineering services department and assigned facility support services.Ĩ. Develops and maintains facility operations and programs to ensure compliance with applicable state, local and federal standards and life safety specifications (CMS, NFPA, TJC, OSHA, EPA, FGI guidelines).ħ. Identifies potential or existing risks or liabilities relating to construction or maintenance of general and specialized structures and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure safety of patients, employees and visitors.ĥ. Prepares and manages the annual operating budget for facilities management ensuring it is consistent with institution priorities and assuring continuity of high quality, functional facilities.ģ. Ability to travel on short notice as necessary.An incumbent in this position is responsible for strategic planning and management of all current and future buildings, campus conditions, and associated facilities and systems.Ability to work well in a small, nonhierarchical organization collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills.Strong computer and data management skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to negotiate towards a long-term balanced outcome in the moment. Strong organizational skills, adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and project changes.Deep curiosity for all functional areas of development including commercialization, engineering, economic development, US state and federal regulations and commissions.Articulate speaker with the ability to lead public presentations.Strong willingness to learn the development processes for renewable energy projects and/or linear infrastructure.We are very open to candidates with Peace Corps, and veteran or other public service experience. 3+ years’ work experience with a strong track record of success, preferred renewable and clean energy industry or pipeline or transmission line development sectors.Advanced degrees are helpful but not required. A BS or BA from an accredited college program.
